Kiss Your Own Frog

Story is told (Old English Folklore) of a prince whose evil auntie turned him to frog so that her son (auntie's son) could inherit the Kingdom; the myth continuous to tell that the only way to turn the
boy back from frog to human was a genuine passionate kiss from the right girl at the right time and place.

A few months later, an orphan girl mourning the loss of her parents came to fetch water at the pond, she sees the frog and stretch her hand to catch it; when she does, she leans forward to kiss the frog as she be mourns her parents. To her surprise, the frog instantly turned to a handsome young man . . . long story short she became the Queen of a wealthy King.

The moral of the story is, you have your frog out there waiting to be kissed. You may have kissed many frogs that did not turn to prince charming – it does not mean the right frog for you is not there, you keep searching (caution: beware of poisonous frogs).

What is your frog – it is that something you give your Passionate Touch and it turns into a Wonderful Success – it may be a Business, Career, Employment, Charity, Entrepreneurship . . . it's your frog, find it.

There is something unique to you, something that when you (and only you) touch it with your passion, it evolves into a magical sensational adventure flourishing with success.

I wish I could tell you exactly where you frog is; I wish there was a short cut to finding one's frog. Bu, the truth of the matter is, all we get in life are clues towards the pond where our frog is.

I would like to share with you what I believe are the Clues, road Marks if you will, to Signal if you are in the right path towards your frog or not.

Clue 1: Passion
Are you passionate in what you are doing? Does it give you goose bump, peace, joy and satisfaction even when it leads not to money, power or fame? If what you do is a mundane task just to pay bills, go back in-ward and ask yourself – what is it that I am passionate about? You will never succeed (be creative and innovative) doing something you hate.

Clue 2: Competence
Ask yourself, when people call you for advice, solution to their challenge or problem, what is it that they seek from you? We go to a Doctor when we are sick, we go to Lawyer for legal advice. There is something people see in you, which keeps bringing them back to you, what, is it? Find it, Cultivate it, sharpen and raise the standard to the highest level you can.

Clue 3: Favour
What you do and where you do it is crucial. Doing the right thing at a wrong time or place is catastrophic. Pay attention to a place where you see favour towards you and what you do – your frog is not far from where you are liked, loved and favoured. When you or what you offer is rejected – consider, most probably you are not where you should be.

Follow these three clues and you will soon meet your frog; when you do – kiss the heaven out of it – do it with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind and what it turn to a wealthy King and you inherit a wealthy Kingdom designed for you and you only.

Mzee – Unatuachaje?

Every time I visit our shamba, just about time I leave the shamba, shamba boy – if I have not given him anything – he would ask me, as I walk into my car, "Sasa Boss Unatuachaje?" literal translation – "Boss, how do you leave us?" meaning, I should not leave them without some means to improve their livelihood in the shamba in my absence.

I thought about this one day as I was leaving the shamba, one day on my death bed, my children, grandchildren, friends and relative will look me in the eyes as I am about to leave this earthly existence into a better world, they will have the same question to me, "Timothy, HOW do you leave us?"

I want to pause this very same question to you Sir, Madam, Young and Old . . . what will your answer be when your time come to exit this earthly world when you are asked, "How do you leave us – Madam|Sir?" would you have the guts to smile and tell a tale of the legacy you are leaving behind?

I would like to inspire you, regardless of where you are, to begin to think of what you are going to leave behind when you time is up – when your name is called to be absent from the body and be presented before the Almighty God, have you thought and began to prepare your legacy for the generation that is going to come after you?

No Regrets – this is the life I have chosen to live; that at the end of my life I will have no regrets.

For this reason, I will not allow fear of what would people think, fear of people, fear of failure, fear of criticism, fear of unknown stop me…I am here to do one thing and one thing only – live my life to the fullest – in service to those that I am called to be their servant.

_hire a car? return in a better state vs state you took it earlier on,
_tenancy ended? I leave that house in a better condition vs you found it,
_when I leave a hotel room likewise? do you leave mess or order?
_when you leave someone's presence, are they better off vs before you met?

The philosophy is LEAVE every-thing and every-place in a better state than the way you receive it. When you leave the world – those close to you, will they say you have left them better off or worse than before you entered their Lives?

So, question – UTATUACHAJE when your time is up?
